Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles

When I serendipitously discovered the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles while strolling in cyberspace one day, I felt as though I had found an event custom-made for me... And wished I had known about it sooner! Born and raised in Los Angeles with a lifelong love of and involvement in Arts & Entertainment, most especially film, I had become a 'gori with a desi heart' over the years, and when I arrived at my first orientation for the film festival, I knew I was in my element.

This year marked my sixth with IFFLA and through the years I have had experiences filled with friendships, films and projects that I will treasure for lifetimes.

In this article, I will share highlights from my experience with IFFLA.
