I had often driven by this lush and adorable courtyard with small businesses, quaint shops and a French restaurant, wondering what it was like inside. On closer look, I discovered a gem, Saffron, an exquisite boutique. Just seeing the display of impeccably chosen clothing and accessories through the picturesque window frames, caused me to fall in love on sight. Recently, I had the chance to fall evermore in love.

Owner, Tabesh Mirmirani has been sharing her passion for Indian culture through the fashions in her shop for the past five years. In a front cottage of the former hotel property, I was welcomed by her with warm and generous hospitality. Mirmirani travels to India an average of three times a year to handpick unique and luxurious items.
Los Angeles fashionistas and celebrities like Gwen Stefani visit the shop, enjoying an extensive array of wearable art that evolves with the seasons. A perfect balance of lively colors and cool neutrals can be found in the cozy yet fresh and sunlit space. Designers from all over the globe are featured as well as Saffron's own jewelry line.
