Hollywood Premiere:
Thank you to actress and friend, Maureen Flannigan for treating me to a screening of her performance in the soon-to-be released '25 Hill', a touching and patriotic children's movie about connecting during times of loss. Apropos for the upcoming 4th of July holiday, the theme was carried through to the day's family-friendly events, complete with Americana from sponsors, such as peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, baked pies and hot dogs, topping it all off with the familiar starred and striped flags, dog tags for attendees and soap box derby races by stars of the film. Maureen and Nathan Gamble were well-cast as mother and son. Corbin Bernsen was entertaining as always and Bailee Madison made a delightful nemesis.
