October 2013
Eco-Friendly Fashion Show & Salon
Green Lifestyles Network began as a film festival that focused on the subject of environmental sustainabilty, and has since branched out to explore other industries. This month marked the beginning of a six-month long campaign spotlighting the realms of beauty and fashion in an ecologically-minded manner. To launch the event, a fashion show featuring the designs of locally based designer Victoria Tik of Frock L.A., was held at Croft House, known for their unique furniture often made from reclaimed materials. Amongst the various treats guests could enjoy were environmentally-sound products applied by a professional makeup artist, samplings offered by various vendors, plus live entertainment and refreshments, all keeping with the theme.
